The National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) is committed to protecting your personal data privacy in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA).

We shall enumerate how we process your personal data and provide this privacy notice in an appropriate format, such as, but not limited to, website links and QR codes, whenever we collect personal data through different channels.

NAMRIA collects only personal data that are necessary for the following instances:

1. Inquiries, suggestions, and complaint submissions through call, text, chat, e-mail, website, and in printed forms.
2. Visitor registration through the logbook.
3. Availing of NAMRIA products and services through the NAMRIA One-Stop-Shop (NOSS) and Online shop (e-Mapa).
4. Events or activities conducted by NAMRIA.
5. Applying for a job or entering into a contract of service with NAMRIA

Personal data shall be used only for the purpose that they are collected and authorized by the data owners, such as: documentation and any processes relative to the performance of our mandate.

1. Handling inquiries, suggestions, complaints, and any other concerns;
2. Adhering to legal and regulatory requirements;
3. Conducting research and producing statistical data;
4. Processing job applications and complying with other government agencies;.
5. other purposes allowed by law.

Personal data collected and processed by NAMRIA shall not be shared with any other party unless such disclosure is allowed under Sections 12 or 13 of the DPA.

Personal data collected and processed by NAMRIA is stored in a secure environment. We may also utilize a cloud-based third-party provider and ensure proper measures are adopted to protect your information.

Personal data shall be retained only for a period necessary to serve the purpose for which it was collected, or as required under any obligation or applicable laws, and shall be made in accordance with the Records Disposal Policy and Records Disposition under Republic Act 9470 or the National Archives of the Philippines Act of 2007. Thereafter, data subjects’ personal information shall be disposed of in a secure manner that would prevent further processing, unauthorized access, or disclosure to any other party.

This Privacy Notice is effective as of May 27, 2025 and will remain effective until revision or amendment is required. NAMRIA reserves the right to amend this Privacy Notice at any time to comply with the latest laws and regulations.
