NAMRIA, represented by the NAMRIA Chorale, won first place in the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Chorale Competition which was conducted as part of the 2022 DENR Year-End Assembly. The competition was held at the DENR Multi-Purpose Gymnasium on 09 December 2022.

A total of 16 attached agencies, bureaus, and regional offices participated in the DENR chorale competition, dubbed Himig Pasko sa DENR. NAMRIA was declared as the competition’s first placer while DENR National Capital Region (NCR) and DENR Region IX bagged the second and third places, respectively.

The all-male NAMRIA Chorale performed renditions of the Christmas carols Ang Pasko ay Sumapit and Himig ng Pasko. The group was composed of singers from NAMRIA’s five different branches and performed with their trainer and conductor, Mr. Domino C. Marcos. They had the support of the Morale and Welfare Committee, under the overall leadership of NAMRIA Administrator, Usec. Peter N. Tiangco, PhD.
