NAMRIA chorale group performs at DENR-ERDB international conference on sustainable and climate-resilient water management

The chorale group of NAMRIA that won first place in the DENR Himig Pasko Chorale Competition in December 2022, performed during the opening ceremony of the Congress on Sustainable and Climate Resilient Watershed Management through Ecosystem-Based Approaches in the Asia-Pacific Region. The participants in the chorale group were members of the NAMRIA Chorale. The event was held at Crimson Hotel in Filinvest City, Metro Manila on 24 October 2023. The international conference was organized and hosted by the Ecosystem Research and Development Bureau (ERDB)-DENR, in partnership with the Asia-Pacific Association of Forestry Research Institutions.

NAMRIA's participation in the event was made possible by the favorable response of NAMRIA Administrator, Usec. Peter N. Tiangco, PhD to the invitation letter of ERDB-DENR Dir. Maria Lourdes G. Ferrer. The chorale group sang the invocation song "I Believe" by Ervin Drake, then led the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. They were under the guidance of freelance choral conductor, Mr. Domino Marcos.
