Retiring employees who were honored during the said activity were the following: from the Geospatial Information System Management Branch (GISMB) — Joselito T. Reasol, Chief of the Geospatial Database Management Division (GDMD), and Alexander P. Enriquez, Engineer I from the Geospatial Information and Communications Technology Division (GICTD); from the Engineering Services Division (ESD)-Support Services Branch (SSB) — Crispin V. Santos, Printing Machine Operator II; and from the Reprography and Printing Division (RPD)-Mapping and Geodesy Branch (MGB) — Edwin H. Sioson and Rolando dela Cruz, both Printing Machine Operator II.

 

Mr. Reasol and Mr. Enriquez had served NAMRIA for 32 and 43 years, respectively. Mr. Santos had worked in the agency for 31 years; Mr. Sioson, 37 years; and Mr. dela Cruz, 30 years.

One of the highlights of the tribute event was the playing of video greetings and farewell messages from friends and colleagues from the agency. In their respective responses, Mr. Reasol and Mr. Enriquez, who were both present during the event at the NAMRIA Lecture Hall, reminisced their colorful days in the agency and expressed their gratitude to the management for the support and guidance. Mr. Santos, Mr. Sioson, and Mr. dela Cruz joined the event via zoom.

 

In his message, NAMRIA Administrator Tiangco conveyed his appreciation to the retiring employees for their contributions to the agency. He said that their loyalty helped pave the way for NAMRIA to accomplish and surpass its objectives. "More than the accolades and awards we received, it is us, NAMRIAns, who deserve praises and recognition," he said. Other officials who gave farewell messages were GISMB Dir. Febrina E. Damaso, SSB OIC-Dir. Concepcion A. Bringas, and MGB Dir. Ruel DM. Belen.

The conduct of the tribute event is pursuant to Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular Number 07, s. 1998. Ms. Mary Joy E. Sioting, Ms. Ma. Jesabel M. Ramos, and Ms. Agnes G. Radam from SSB hosted the event while Mr. Jeffrey M. Aguillon from GISMB spearheaded the virtual streaming of the activity.
