NAMRIA Awareness Program: Continuing the Journey towards Excellence

NAMRIA, through the Administrative Division (AD) of the Support Services Branch (SSB), conducted the agency’s awareness program entitled Continuing the Journey towards Excellence.  The awareness program was conducted in sessions and in various locations, namely: Rialto 2 Function Room, Subic Bay Travelers Hotel (SBTH), Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City; NAMRIA Lecture Hall, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City; and Hydrography Branch (HB) Conference Hall, San Nicolas, Manila on 11, 19, and 20 September 2018, respectively.  NAMRIA officers and staff attended the activity.
 
The program started in 2015 and is the fourth cascading activity of SSB.  It is aligned with NAMRIA’s activities for its continuing journey towards human resource organization and development excellence which include those on employee engagement, involvement, and empowerment.  The program aimed to create greater awareness and obtain stronger cooperation among employees on the current directions and strategic undertakings of the agency, including their welfare and benefits.

The topics presented were the following: (1) Human Resource and Organization Development Journey towards Excellence: NAMRIA Investors in People certification, Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management bronze award, and NAMRIA ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification; (2) Welfare and Benefits Program: Updates on the Pag-IBIG Fund and Philhealth Benefits, Programs and Policies; and (3) Enabling Mechanism to Support HR Systems: Client Request Management System, Daily Journal Information System, and Knowledge Management System orientation.  The presentations were followed by open forum sessions.
 
The resource persons for the program were Ms. Sharon F. Ravelo, Ms. Cristina G. Pablo, and Mr. Adrian M. Roca of Pag-IBIG Fund, Olongapo City; Ms. Suzanne C. Vicente, Ms. Emilyn C. Domangsang, and Ms. Laarnie E. Casajeros of Pag-IBIG Fund, Taguig City; Ms. Charizel Anne S. Maraya and Mr. Jayson S. Santos of PhilHealth, Olongapo City; and Ms. Maria Cyrill R. Villarin of PhilHealth, Taguig City.  The resource persons from NAMRIA were Ms. Bringas and Ms. Xenia R. Andres of AD-SSB; and Mr. Donald M. Gutierrez, Mr. Sherwin Lester V. Aquino, Mr. Robin Padilla, and Mr. Norman L. Boydon of Geospatial Systems Development Division of the Geospatial Information System Management Branch. The program was organized and facilitated by Ms. Florence M. Acle, Ms. Annalyn P. Perez, Ms. Eunice Nicole M. Zapanta, and Mr. Rommel D. Villaber of the Human Resource and Development Section of the AD.
