DENR Year-end Employees’ General Assembly 2015: NAMRIA wins 1st place in DENR Got Talent contest

NAMRIA once again proved victorious for placing first in the DENR Got Talent contest during the DENR annual year-end employees’ general assembly at the DENR central office social hall on 15 December 2015.

 
The team from NAMRIA were composed of Ms. Aileen H. Argente, Mr. Arnie A. Berriber, and Mr. John Richard R. Bongalos of the Geospatial Information Systems Management Branch (GISMB); Mr. Jonathan S. Ballesteros and Mr. Mark Francis G. Gicaro of the Mapping and Geodesy Branch; Ms. Jovelyn G. Bautista, Ms. Liezl M. Lebornio, Ms. Lyca A. Prohibido, Ms. Rose Arriane E. Borlaza, Mr. John Vincent T. Valencia, and Mr. Wilson M. Tagufa of the Resource Data Analysis Branch; and Ms. Nikki Aimee B. Escandor of the Support Services Branch. The other winners were the Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau, second place and DENR Region IVB, third place.
 
With the theme “Kasiyahan…Kasaganahan…Para sa Kapaskuhan,” the day-long activity started out with a thanksgiving mass and immediately followed by the Christmas message of DENR Secretary Ramon Jesus P. Paje. Secretary Paje in his message reiterated the importance of making personal sacrifices for the betterment of others. He also highlighted the accomplishments of the DENR for fiscal year 2015 in relation to environmental protection, practice of good governance, and promotion of employees’ morale and welfare.
 
Raffles in cash and groceries and Bingo games were also held during the day. A rave party was also done in the evening part of the program. GISMB’s Jeffrey A. Quodala and Annrou R. Ramos acted as hosts in the contest part of the program.
