The National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) conducted an online awareness session on the Government Optimization Act (GOA), or the Republic Act Number (No.) 12231 on 23 April 2026. The activity was preceded by an organizational meeting, briefing, and orientation of the Committee on NAMRIA Optimization (CNO) and Sub-CNO, held on April 22, 2026, at the NAMRIA Lecture Hall, along with the creation of technical working groups for the formulation NAMRIA Optimization Plan (NOP).

The National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), through its Hydrography Branch (HB), hosted the Expert-to-Expert (E2E) Forum on Aids to Navigation (AtoN) Data Collection and Verification at the Manila Prince hotel on 14-15 April 2026. The forum brought together different maritime stakeholders to address challenges in data accuracy, standardization, and inter-agency coordination in support of the country’s transition to the S-100 framework, which aims to modernize hydrographic data systems and enhance maritime safety.

New Fees and Charges
for NAMRIA Products and Services

This is to inform the public that the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) has issued Memorandum Circular No. 2026-005, Series of 2026, entitled:

"New Fees and Charges for the Products and Services of the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA)"

The Circular prescribes new fees and charges for selected NAMRIA products and services not included in the current schedule published in the Official Gazette. Existing rates under NAMRIA Memorandum Circular No.1 dated 14 March 2011 shall remain in effect unless otherwise revised. All covered transactions shall be subject to the applicable fees under this Circular.

All concerned clients and stakeholders are therefore encouraged to refer to the official issuance for complete details.
