ONE and GOLDMED ink service agreement on health card

The Organization of NAMRIA Employees (ONE) headed by its president, Dr. Celeste E. Barile and MCN Global Holding Corporation-GOLDMED represented by its Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (EVP/COO), Ms. Gerardina R. Banasig formally signed the service agreement that will cover 104 NAMRIA personnel and 17 of their dependents under a health care services package. The signing took place on 23 March 2015 inside the NAMRIA boardroom and witnessed by Ms. Caroline D. Valencia, GOLDMED Associate Vice President for Medical Operations; Ms. Xenia R. Andres and Ms. Annalee A. Quiliza of the Administrative Division-Support Services Branch; and Ms. Josefina G. Gaspi and Mr. Jeffrey A. Quodala.

Prior to the signing, GOLDMED together with Medicard and Fortune Care presented their respective proposal in an assembly held at the NAMRIA lecture hall on 05 March 2015. Those who attended voted GOLDMED among the three as the most favorable to them. During the flag-raising ceremony on 09 March 2015, Ms. Gaspi made an announcement for those who are interested to avail themselves of GOLDMED.

An orientation on GOLDMED was also done at the NAMRIA boardroom on 19 March 2015 to address queries pertaining to its covered services, benefits, and other relevant information. The card officially took effect on 17 March 2015.

GOLDMED is a managed care program that carries out the business of administrating medical-oriented services. It was founded for the purpose of pursuing excellence in managed care delivery by offering holistic healthcare services with a system of delivery that is both acceptable at the basic and premium level. The ONE service agreement with GOLDMED, composed of six articles and three annexes will be automatically terminated one year after the effectivity date but may be renewed for another year subject to negotiation.
