IEC Campaign for Real Estate Developers held
News & Event(s) | Jeff Aguillon | 28 June 2017 | Print

The Realty and Entrepreneurship Academy of the Philippines (REAP) recently tapped NAMRIA for a pool of resource speakers for its seminar, “NAMRIA’s Roles and Functions Relative to Real Estate Development,” which was held at Metroclub, Rockwell, Makati City on 23 June 2017.

In her opening remarks, REAP President Teresista OP. Bautista said  that NAMRIA offers information that would be beneficial to developers but majority of the real estate industry are not aware of all of the agency’s services.  She thought that a forum would help the real estate industry in recognizing the value of the agency.

The seminar proper was preceded by the showing of an audio-visual presentation about the agency. The lineup of speakers is as follows: Engr. Mary Jane R. Montemor from the Mapping and Geodesy Branch, OIC-Assistant Director Benjamin P. Balais from the Resource Data Analysis Branch, Ensign Mark J. Abelon from the Hydrography Branch, and Melvin O. Perez from the Geospatial Information Systems Management Branch.

An open forum was held after the presentations to address inquiries from the participants. Ramos of GISMB served as the emcee/facilitator of the activity.
