NAMRIA's vision is to become a center of excellence, building a geospatially-empowered Philippines by 2020. It's mission is to provide accurate, timely and accessible topographic maps, nautical charts and other geospatial products and services.

The course is 10 days long. All HB uniformed personnel are required to attend the training. The sets/batches of trainees are scheduled to attend the training program throughout January to March.
The celebration is month-long but the highlight will be on the 21st of July.
HB returning scholars are scheduled to conduct their echo-seminar. Two personnel from the Nautical Charting Division will go to Busan, Korea for a one-month training program in nautical charting.
